These units are solely to install. Take off outlet cover, snap in place, and reconnect cover screw. Really a nice subtle light for night time. It's a nice rich look too. People have commented. I purchased another set of five.

I love the purpose of them. The light is very nice for dark areas, but the plate didn't lay flush to the wall on any of them. We installed 10 of them. But I do absolutely like the functionality of them. And they are much more expensive elsewhere. So it's just a give and take. I appreciated the less expensive price. I would of given them a perfect score if the plate would of sat flush to the wall. Not perfect, but not bad either.

Surprizingly easy to install, not to bright with a balance of night light needs. Kids love it, doesn't over brighten their rooms. Wish I had gotten the double duplex plates instead of the single plates, that's my only regret
